Rule of the Bone 1-2

I beleive that Chappie is just a misled young man who is only using smoking weed and doing bad things due too a bad childhood. The face that he has a step dad means that somewhere down the line his real dad must have done something wrong. Chappie uses drugs to sort of "forget", and now has a phsycological addiction. It's sad really that he had to run away from home, yet at the same time adult decisions have adult consequences and i beleive that this book will contain many of these sever consequences. His Christmas fantasy shows Chappies sort of child side, wanting things to be ok, wanting to come home and live with a normal family that he knows doesnt exist.

Many teenagers fantasize, even adults, about how they want certain events to turn out. Maybe a soccer tournament getting the winning penalty kick and getting first. Getting that raise at work and a round of applause from colleagues. Russel reach's out to teenagers and shows the inner kid in all of us.

3 facts:
  1. The majority of homeless and runaway youth are between the ages of 15 and 17, however three out of 100 runaways are under the age of 10, and 11 out of 100 are between the ages of 11 and 13.
  2. Approximately half of all runaways were physically abused before fleeing home.
  3. Up to a third of runaways have been forced to perform a sexual act against his/her will.
