First off what does a party consist of? Everybody has their own version of a birthday party, or just a normal party. Whether it be a crazy rave at someones house, or a quite candle lit dinner not every expectation can be met. Chappie is no exception to this idea, and so his perfect idea of a birthday party, is just a loose whisper in the roar of the crowd. The party at his fathers house was just another party, another quick glance into the eyes of sin, and another precognition into whats to come of most of his dreams. Disaster. The party had tons of people, lesbians, dark young jamacain men, addicts. All of which a newcoming 15 year old would not usually experience, there was food, there were people. Yet, there was no emotion, no love, Chappie wanted a family, he wanted to be noted for this landmark of an age, no one even knew about why there was a party unless they read the big sign on the outside of the house.
Papa Doc, was not a father at all, he was a fluke, another meaningless father who didn't have the will to face up to the demons he created in his past. He may have accepted Bone into his life, but that doesnt mean that that should be the life for chappie. His father IS another self absorbed crack addict who can sweet talk and meand his way through just about anything. Evening star sounds just like she is described, a husky middle aged woman trying to a jamacain islander. She seemed to enjoy "entertaining" people, and even describes her self as the entertainer. What does this mean for chappie in the future??
